Stranger Things 5 Premiere Dates Finally Announced

Stranger Things 5 premiere dates were revealed at Netflix Tudum 2025 with three-part global release and a powerful final showdown against Vecna.

It’s almost time to return to Hawkins one last time. At Netflix Tudum 2025: The Live Event, fans were hit with a wave of nostalgia and excitement as Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, and Caleb McLaughlin took the stage in an emotional tribute to Stranger Things and its lasting legacy. With a surprise assist from Millie Bobby Brown and Gaten Matarazzo, the cast unveiled the long-awaited release plan for the show’s fifth and final season — and it’s going out with a bang.

Season 5 of Stranger Things will roll out globally on Netflix in three separate volumes:

Volume 1: (4 episodes) premieres November 26

Volume 2: (3 episodes) arrives Christmas Day

The finale episode: debuts New Year’s Eve, all at 5 PM PT

This three-part farewell will serve as the epic conclusion to the beloved supernatural series that first captivated audiences in 2016.

Set in the fall of 1987, the town of Hawkins is reeling after the Rifts have opened. With Vecna on the loose and his whereabouts unknown, the gang reunites with one goal: find and destroy him. But a government military quarantine over Hawkins and a renewed hunt for Eleven forces her back into hiding. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, the town is once again consumed by a familiar dread — and the final battle draws near.
