**WARNING: This article contains spoilers from season 4 volume 2 of Stranger Things**

We finally made it! Stranger Things Season 4 volume 2 is now available to watch, and fans have been feeling all sorts of emotions. Some are angry and some are heartbroken while others are even shocked. But, how did the cast of the show react to the finale? Let’s find out!

Noah Schnapp

Fans knew the season finale was going to be full of heartbreak as Noah Schnapp (Will Byers) posted a selfie on his Instagram story with his hand on his forehead, while looking distressed, with the caption “Happy Stranger Things Finale.”

The star also made a tweet stating “I’m not ready to see the world’s reaction to a certain death…” which obviously put fans more on edge.

Jamie Campbell

Needless to say, the cast of the show was in awe of the fans’ dedication. Even Jamie Campbell Bower, who plays the terrifying Vecna, sent out a tweet saying, “Y’all broke the internet! Lol.”

But something shocking fans didn’t know is that Brower actually predicted Vecna’s connection to the mind flayer before he even got the scripts for season 4’s finale.

Bower explains to Entertainment Weekly that, “I didn’t wanna mention this when I was first talking to people ’cause I didn’t want to give this away.” He stated, “But the Mind Flayer was right next to [Will] all the time. So when I saw in [episode] 9 that this was happening, it just confirmed what I thought I already knew. I was like, ‘I’m not mad!’ It was really, really cool.”

Bower also thought that the shotgun scene where Natalie Dyer, who plays Nancy Wheeler, was shooting at Vecna looked so cool.

Joseph Quinn

Now this was a character people were expecting to die but hoped they were wrong about. Fans had theories that Eddie, played by Joseph Quinn, was going to sacrifice himself, but were hoping it didn’t actually happen. However, Eddie did in fact die protecting a town that hated him– a true hero.

Recollecting on how exactly the Duffer Brothers (creators of the show) told Quinn that Eddie dies, he stated to Entertainment Tonight that, “They didn’t tell me specifically. They kind of texted me during the hiatus like, ‘Can you play guitar?’ I said, ‘Yes?’”

Then he further goes on and says, “And then they just kind of dropped the last three scripts into my inbox. I read it and then didn’t really talk to them until we went back to film.”

The world will miss Eddie.

Millie Bobby Brown

Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, has revealed a gut-wrenching scene that was “horrible” to film for the finale.

In the emotional scene of “papa”, played by Matthew Modine, dying, Eleven and him share a tearful moment–on and off screen.

Brown explains in Netflix Tudum why that scene was hard to film as she says, “because it was Millie saying goodbye, it was horrible.”

But Brown later says that her friendship with Modine won’t be going anywhere. “I found that person to rely on and know he’s always got my back,” Brown said about Modine in Tudum’s recent cover story.

How cute is that?!

Now fans have to wait another two years for season 5 of Stranger Things but here are some key things to know about the upcoming final season!
