Netflix has officially unveiled its highly anticipated 2026 slate, offering an expansive look at what’s ahead across series, films, live programming, and games. The announcement includes new release dates, exclusive images, casting news, and first looks at returning fan favorites and brand-new titles, signaling another packed year for the streaming giant.
Major Series Updates for 2026
Among the most anticipated reveals is Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2, which debuted a new exclusive image. The live-action series continues following Aang, Katara, and Sokka after their victory in the Northern Water Tribe, as they embark on a new mission involving the elusive Earth King and the looming threat of Fire Lord Ozai. The season is executive produced by Christine Boylan and Jabbar Raisani and stars Gordon Cormier, Kiawentiio, Ian Ousley, and Dallas Liu, with Daniel Dae Kim, Maria Zhang, and Chin Han also featured.
Beef Season 2 received a confirmed premiere date of April 16, 2026. Created by Lee Sung Jin, the new chapter centers on a young couple drawn into a dangerous power struggle after witnessing a violent confrontation within the elite world of a country club. The season stars Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton, and Cailee Spaeny and is produced by A24.
Netflix also shared a new exclusive image from Bridgerton Season 4, which will unfold in two parts on January 29 and February 26, 2026. This season turns the spotlight on Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson, as a chance encounter at a masquerade ball alters his outlook on love. Comedy fans can mark their calendars for Tyler Perry’s Joe’s College Road Trip, arriving February 13, 2026, while Little Brother shared a first-look image teasing a chaotic reunion between a successful real estate agent and his eccentric sibling, played by John Cena and Eric André.
