Prime Video dropped an action-packed trailer and key art for Countdown, starring Jensen Ackles and launching with a three-episode debut June 25.
Prime Video is dialing up the intensity this summer with the official trailer and key art reveal for Countdown, its latest high-stakes action thriller. Created by One Chicago and FBI executive producer Derek Haas, Countdown is set to explode onto screens June 25 with a three-episode premiere — exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories.
The series follows LAPD detective Mark Meachum, played by Jensen Ackles (The Boys, Supernatural), who is pulled into a covert task force after a Department of Homeland Security officer is brazenly gunned down in public. What begins as a murder investigation quickly spirals into a much darker and deadlier conspiracy, setting off a race against the clock to stop a catastrophic plot threatening millions.
Joining Jensen Ackles in this high-octane drama are Eric Dane (Grey’s Anatomy, Euphoria) and Jessica Camacho (The Flash, Watchmen), rounding out a star-powered trio leading the charge. The cast also features Violett Beane (Death and Other Details), Elliot Knight (The Boys), and Uli Latukefu (Young Rock), each playing crucial roles in the unfolding crisis.
Countdown is created by Derek Haas, who also serves as showrunner and executive producer. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios.
After the June 25 debut, new episodes will drop weekly, keeping the tension high all the way to the season finale on Wednesday, September 3. With its powerhouse cast, relentless pacing, and global stakes, Countdown is poised to become Prime Video’s must-watch thrill ride of the summer.
