D23 2025 reveals major updates from Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and Disney Animation including Toy Story 5, Avengers: Doomsday, The Mandalorian & Grogu, and more.

Disney fans were treated to a wave of announcements at the 2025 Destination D23 event, where the Walt Disney Studios Showcase unveiled first looks, new titles, and fresh release dates from Disney Animation, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars. While not as expansive as the biennial D23 Expo, this year’s fan event still delivered plenty of excitement, spanning beloved franchises and highly anticipated originals.

One of the biggest reveals came from Pixar, which showcased Toy Story 5. New details included concept art of Bonnie’s mischievous Lily Pad tablet and an opening scene featuring an army of malfunctioning Buzz Lightyears stranded on an island. In a surprise casting announcement, Conan O’Brien will lend his voice to Smarty Pants, a potty training toy. The film arrives in theaters June 19, 2026. They also announced the return of the Buzz Lightyear balloon ant the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
