Netflix has officially dropped the trailer, key art, and first-look photos for season 2 of Nobody Wants This, confirming the hit comedy will return on October 23, 2025. Fans of the heartfelt yet hilarious series can now look forward to seeing what’s next for Joanne and Noah as their unconventional love story continues.
Created by Erin Foster, the series follows agnostic podcast host Joanne (Kristen Bell) and modern rabbi Noah (Adam Brody), whose undeniable chemistry surprised their families, friends, and even themselves. In season 1, their romance defied expectations and pushed back against countless obstacles. Now, in season 2, the couple is fully committed to building a life together — but staying in love comes with challenges just as complex as falling in love.
As Joanne and Noah try to merge their families, their differences remain front and center. Her sister Morgan (Justine Lupe), his brother Sasha (Timothy Simons), and sister-in-law Esther (Jackie Tohn) all return to complicate their journey. Season 2 asks the bigger question: can a relationship survive once the honeymoon phase fades, and the realities of life — and family — set in?
