Is It Cake? Holiday season 2 releases official trailer and key art as Mikey Day returns with six all-star bakers competing for $75,000 and a spot in the festive finale.
The holidays are about to get sweeter — and more deceptive — as Netflix debuts the official trailer and key art for Is It Cake? Holiday season 2. The fan-favorite baking competition returns on November 25, 2025, with host Mikey Day leading a new round of festive fun, mind-blowing edible illusions, and high-stakes competition.
This season brings together six all-star cake artists, including three returning Is It Cake? alums and three acclaimed baking pros, all competing to outwit celebrity judges with hyper-realistic cakes disguised as everyday holiday objects. The bakers vying for victory include Fernanda Abarca, Justin Salinas, Liz Marek, Melissa Alt, Paul Bosley, and Timbo Sullivan.
Across three 40-minute episodes, these culinary illusionists will battle it out for their share of a $75,000 prize pot and a coveted spot in the finale, where only the most convincing cake creations will earn them bragging rights — and holiday glory.
Joining the sugar-fueled showdown is an impressive lineup of celebrity judges, each ready to determine what’s real and what’s frosting. The judging panel includes Dustin Milligan, Kel Mitchell, King Bach, Kristen Bell, Lacey Chabert, Lamorne Morris, Michael Urie, Pierson Fode, and Wendi McLendon-Covey — all delivering hilarious reactions and sharp critiques as they attempt to spot the cake among the chaos.
Is It Cake? Holiday season 2 is produced by Alfred Street Industries with executive producers Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz, Nan Strait, Dan Volpe, and Andrew Wallace.
With bigger bakes, higher stakes, and cakes so realistic they’ll have you second-guessing everything on the holiday table, this season promises to be the sweetest showdown yet.
