The official teaser trailer for Kathryn Bigelow’s A House of Dynamite debuts ahead of its October release in theaters and on Netflix.
The first official teaser trailer for Kathryn Bigelow’s highly anticipated thriller A House of Dynamite has officially dropped, giving audiences their first look at the explosive new film.
The movie is set to premiere in select theaters in the UK on October 3, followed by a global theatrical rollout on October 10. Just two weeks later, the film will arrive on Netflix, where it will be available to stream worldwide beginning October 24.
Directed by the Oscar-winning Bigelow and written by Noah Oppenheim, A House of Dynamite brings together a powerhouse team of producers, including Bigelow herself, Oppenheim, and Greg Shapiro, with Brian Bell and Sarah Bremner serving as executive producers.
The film’s creative lineup includes Barry Ackroyd as director of photography, Jeremy Hindle as production designer, Sarah Edwards as costume designer, and Kirk Baxter as editor. The score is composed by Volker Bertelmann, with sound design by Paul N. J. Ottosson. Hindle, Sumaiya Kaveh, and Luca Borghese also join the project as co-producers, while Susanne Scheel handled casting.
The cast is packed with star power, led by Idris Elba, Rebecca Ferguson, Gabriel Basso, Jared Harris, Tracy Letts, Anthony Ramos, Moses Ingram, Jonah Hauer-King, Greta Lee, and Jason Clarke. The ensemble also features Malachi Beasley, Brian Tee, Brittany O’Grady, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Willa Fitzgerald, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Kyle Allen, and Kaitlyn Dever.
The logline sets up a tense, high-stakes premise: when a single, unattributed missile is launched at the United States, a global race begins to uncover who is responsible and determine the appropriate response.
With Bigelow’s track record in delivering gripping, politically charged dramas, a script by Oppenheim, and a stellar cast, A House of Dynamite looks set to be one of the year’s must-watch thrillers when it lands in theaters and on Netflix this fall.
