What’s New On Peacock January 2026

Peacock kicks off January 2026 with new originals, major premieres and returning favorites including the season 4 debut of The Traitors, plus thrillers, films and live events.

Peacock is ringing in 2026 with an expansive slate of originals, exclusive premieres, returning fan favorites, and live programming designed to keep viewers glued to their screens all winter long. January brings a mix of high-stakes reality, espionage thrillers, buzzy films, and a deep bench of weekly series, while December closes out the year with two highly anticipated Peacock exclusives.

Before the new year officially begins, Peacock delivers a pair of standout premieres. Streaming exclusively beginning December 19, Him offers a chilling look at ambition and obsession from Academy Award–winning producer Jordan Peele and Monkeypaw Productions. The psychological descent continues on December 26 with Bugonia, a critically acclaimed thriller centered on conspiracy, chaos, and a shocking kidnapping that turns reality on its head.

January truly heats up with the return of one of Peacock’s most celebrated originals. On January 8, Emmy Award–winning phenomenon The Traitors launches its fourth season. Hosted once again by Alan Cumming in the Scottish Highlands, the series raises the stakes with more deception, more betrayal, and a prize fund that pushes contestants to their limits. New episodes roll out throughout the month alongside The Traitors Podcast, expanding the mind games beyond the castle walls.

Thrills continue on January 15 with the premiere of Ponies, a Cold War–era espionage series starring Emilia Clarke and Haley Lu Richardson. Set in 1977 Moscow, the drama follows two embassy secretaries who are thrust into the world of intelligence after their husbands’ mysterious deaths. As unlikely CIA operatives, the women uncover a sweeping conspiracy while navigating danger, grief, and survival behind the Iron Curtain.

Younger viewers also get something new with Team Mekbots Season 2B arriving January 22. The Peacock Original follows four kids who travel the globe rescuing animals, blending adventure with heart in a family-friendly format.

Beyond originals, Peacock’s January lineup is stacked with weekly episodes from across NBC, Bravo, Telemundo, and beyond, including Chicago Fire, Law & Order: SVU, Saturday Night Live, Below Deck Mediterranean, Vanderpump Rules, and The Real Housewives franchises. The platform also adds a massive collection of films on January 1, ranging from The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, The Hunger Games franchise, and How to Train Your Dragon.

Live events and sports remain a major draw throughout the month. Peacock streams marquee moments like the Rose Parade’s New Year’s Celebration 2026, red carpet coverage for the Critics Choice Awards and Golden Globes, and an extensive slate of live sports including NFL postseason action, Premier League matches, NBA games, college basketball, motorsports, and international competitions.

With originals, exclusives, blockbuster movies, reality favorites, and nonstop live programming, Peacock enters 2026 with a packed schedule that offers something for every kind of viewer.
