Peacock releases the premiere date and official teaser for The ’Burbs, the new mystery comedy series starring Keke Palmer and Jack Whitehall, with all eight episodes arriving on the streamer Sunday, February 8, 2026.
A quiet neighborhood is about to get a lot more dangerous. Peacock has announced the premiere date for The ’Burbs, along with a brand new teaser and first look photos of the mystery comedy series starring Keke Palmer and Jack Whitehall. All eight episodes drop Sunday, February 8, 2026, exclusively on the streamer.
Inspired by the classic 1989 horror-comedy film, The ’Burbs brings the suburban setting into the present day with a fresh dose of secrets, suspense and dark humor. The series follows a young couple who reluctantly move into the husband’s childhood home — a seemingly peaceful cul-de-sac that turns out to be anything but quiet. Their plans for a normal suburban life fall apart when a new neighbor arrives across the street, and old buried history begins to surface. Very quickly, the neighborhood becomes home to new deadly threats that shatter the illusion of safety.
Keke Palmer Leads A Stacked Cast
Palmer stars in the series and also serves as an executive producer. She’s joined by Jack Whitehall and a cast that includes Julia Duffy, Paula Pell, Mark Proksch, and Kapil Talwalkar. The series comes from UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group.
The Team Behind The Chaos
The ’Burbs is created, written, and executive produced by Celeste Hughey, with additional writing and executive producing from Rachel Shukert. Palmer executive produces alongside Seth MacFarlane, Erica Huggins, and Aimee Carlson for Fuzzy Door, plus Brian Grazer, Kristen Zolner and Natalie Berkus for Imagine Entertainment. The series is directed and executive produced by Nzingha Stewart, with Dana Olsen serving as co-executive producer.
With its mix of mystery, suburban satire, and genre thrills, The ’Burbs promises to deliver both laughs and chills when it arrives next year. Fans can watch the official teaser and explore the first look images now as anticipation begins to build for Peacock’s newest original.
