The game is back on. Starting 5 returns for season 2 this fall, and Netflix has released the official trailer ahead of the highly anticipated premiere on October 16, 2025.
This season, the docuseries shines a spotlight on a new roster of NBA superstars, including Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics, Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers, and James Harden of the Los Angeles Clippers. Together, they represent the elite of today’s league, offering viewers an inside look at the drive, determination, and challenges that define their journeys.
Season 2 consists of eight episodes, each running 45 minutes, and continues to blend unparalleled access with thoughtful storytelling. The series is produced by UNINTERRUPTED in association with Omaha Productions and Higher Ground Productions.
