Russell Westbrook Gives Special Tribute to Oklahoma City Upon Return

Russell Westbrook gave a special tribute upon returning to Oklahoma City as an opponent.

The All-Star is back to Oklahoma City where he played the past 11 seasons, except this time he’s playing on the opposing team, the Houston Rockets.

Westbrook chose to honor his old team through his Jordans, which display his career stats and even the words “thank you.” Westbrook also showed up wearing a “Zero Regrets” hoodie.

Is that shady?!

Westbrook was traded from the Rockets on July 11 for future Hall of Fame guard Chris Paul, sending Paul to Oklahoma City. The game was the first between them since October.

Westbrook was welcomed back to OKC with open arms, including a tribute video of their once-beloved player.

In the end, Thunder (22-16) knocked off the Rockets (25-12) 113 – 92.
