Selena Gomez released her new single this February followed by a music video on the 22nd of the same month! The music video starts with couples kissing up a staircase where we see Selena in beautiful dresses. The song and the video is flirty, sexy, and fun as it talks about a blossoming new love in Paris of all places. The song begins with a sample from L’Amour by LiQWYD talking about calling someone your tender love. The song is available on all streaming platform and the video has already amassed over 1.8 million views within the first fifteen hours!

Linda Ronstadt in New Biopic

Selena Gomez is slated to play Linda Ronstadt in a new biopic from producers, John Boylan and James Keach. Linda Ronstadt was an American singer that was known for songs such as “Heart Like a Wheel” or “Mad Love”. She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014 as well as receiving a Lifetime Achievement award from the Recording Academy in 2016 and the Kennedy Honors in 2019. Selena Gomez confirmed the news on her Instagram story and fans could not be more excited.

Season Four of Only Murders In The Building

Fans can not get enough of Hulu’s hit series, Only Murders in the Building. With the series having won four primetime Emmys across its entire run, it is no surprise that it was renewed for its fourth season. While no official premiere date has been released, it is safe to assume that a 2024 summer date is a possibility. Selena Gomez has also signed onto another project this year, that being In the Shadow of the Mountain directed by Elgin James. She is slated to play the main character Silvia Vasquez-Lando. Based on the memoir, this film is about a woman overcoming her trauma through mountaineering. Gomez will be playing a character that fans do not usually see her portraying on screen, which is new and exciting for the star and viewers alike!

New Album on the Horizon

In December of 2023 Selena casually dropped the information that her album would be released in two months when responding to a fan. With the release of new singles such as “Love On” and “Single Soon” it seems like this was not just a fun response to a comment question. The actual release date of the album is still unknown, but fans can most likely expect to see SG3 within this year!
