‘Love is Blind’ Cast: Where Are They Now?

With an upcoming season of Love is Blind airing soon, we are taking a trip down memory lane.  Which couples actually made it? Which didn’t? Where are they now? Here is everything to know about what’s going on with the last cast of the hit Netflix reality show!

The reality show first aired in 2020. However, it wasn’t like any other dating show. Instead, they called it an “experiment”. The cast would date in “pods”, without ever seeing each other, unless they chose to get engaged. Some relationships worked, some didn’t, but where are they now?

1. Damian Powers and Giannina Gibelli

After leaving the pods, the couple had a bumpy road. Damian Powers and Giannina Gibelli broke up in the season finale of the show, after Powers left her at the altar. Shortly after the season aired, the two revealed that they were dating and in love.

However, in the “After the altar: Celebrations and Confrontations”, the two were having problems. Powers had been spotted with Too Hot To Handle star, Francesca Farago. Despite denying the dating rumors, Gibelli was not comfortable seeing them together in the series’ anniversary party.

Ultimately, the two officially parted ways in August 2021. Since then, Damian has been quiet about his dating life.

Recently, Gibelli and former Bachelorette contestant, Blake Horstmann, have posted pictures that appear to be taken in the same location. The two have subtly hinted about their romance, but are keeping things private.

2. Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton

Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton are still going strong. They were one of the few couples with very little drama throughout the show. Even though they did face some fears and doubts, the couple got married in the season finale.

The cute couple recently celebrated their three year anniversary.

3. Jessica Batten and Mark Cuevas

Mark Cuevas and Jessica Batten’s love story was interesting, to say the least. Originally, Jessica had hit it off with Matt Barnett. Throughout the show, she seemed very interested in Matt but maintained her relationship with Mark.

Jessica broke up with Mark on their wedding day, but continued to date him outside of the show. In the special “After the Altar”, she revealed that he had cheated on her. However, Mark Cuevas was not a part of the show’s special so fans never got to see that conversation unfold.

The two have since moved on and after turning the page on reality tv, Cuevas got married to Aubrey Rainey. Currently, they are expecting their second child.

Jessica Batten recently got engaged to Dr. Benjamin McGrath. The Love is Blind star had been dating McGrath for over a year. Despite her turmoil throughout the show, Batten found her happy ending.

4. Amber Pike and Matt Barnett

Amber Pike and Matt Barnett had one of the most attention-grabbing storylines in the reality show’s first season. Despite leaving the pods engaged, they faced multiple challenges during the subsequent phases of the “experiment”. One being a sort of “love triangle” with Jessica Batten.

In the show’s “After the Altar”, Matt Barnett rejected Jessica’s anniversary gift. The couple decided that they did not want to let Jessica anywhere near their relationship.

The Barnett’s struggled to maintain their marriage after the show, but it got them to a great place. Regardless of their ups and downs, they have been married for three years making them a Love is Blind success story.

After so many love, tears, breakups and tons of drama, the hit show returns for another season. Even though only two couples made it through, the show has proved that their “experiment” can be the beginning of beautiful love stories.
