Halsey celebrates the 10th anniversary of her debut album Badlands with three new editions, including rare tracks and a live performance.
Halsey is honoring a major milestone in her career with the announcement of three new 10th anniversary editions of her debut album Bandlands, all arriving on August 29, 2025. Originally released on August 28, 2015, Bandlands was a bold, dystopian-pop debut that introduced the world to Halsey’s singular vision—and now, a decade later, the artist is giving fans an expansive revisit of the era that launched her to stardom.
The three upcoming editions include Bandlands Decade Edition, Bandlands – Live From Webster Hall, and Bandlands: Anthology—each offering something unique for longtime fans and collectors. All versions are available to pre-order now.
Since its initial release, Bandlands has sold over 3 million units in the U.S. and amassed more than 9 billion streams worldwide. Its 11 tracks, including hit singles like “Ghost,” “New Americana,” “Colors,” and “Castle,” have all been certified gold, platinum, or multi-platinum by the RIAA—an extremely rare feat. The deluxe edition bonus track “Gasoline” alone has over 300 million streams on Spotify.
The Bandlands: Anthology edition is a triple-disc vinyl set featuring the original album, new orchestral renditions, official remixes, unreleased demos, and vault tracks—offering fans a deeper dive into the album’s sonic world. Meanwhile, Bandlands – Live From Webster Hall showcases Halsey’s first-ever live album, capturing her electric 2019 performance at the iconic New York venue. This marks the first time that concert will be available in physical form.
“I can’t believe it’s been 10 years,” Halsey said. “So much has happened in the last decade, but Bandlands remains the most exciting musical journey of my life. I have so many unbelievable things planned for this month to celebrate the album that changed my life and introduced me to the fans I’ll love forever.”
The re-release campaign follows Bandlands recent For My Last Trick tour in support of her fifth studio album, The Great Impersonator, which dropped in 2024. The tour included a lineup of standout openers—Evanescence, Alvvays, Alameda, Del Water Gap, and Magdalena Bay—and launched in Concord, Massachusetts on May 10. It will wrap in Istanbul on August 28, just one day before the new Bandlands editions hit shelves.
With three fresh editions and a decade of history behind it, Bandlands continues to prove its staying power as one of the defining pop albums of its era.
