Fallout season two moves its premiere up by one day as Prime Video reveals a Las Vegas Sphere spectacle and details the weekly rollout through February 2026.
Prime Video has officially moved up the premiere of Fallout Season Two, responding to overwhelming fan demand across the Wasteland. The first episode of the highly anticipated new season will now debut one day earlier, landing on Tuesday, December 16, at 6:00 p.m. PT.
The announcement came in dramatic fashion from the Exosphere of Sphere in Las Vegas, where Prime Video transformed the iconic venue into a post-apocalyptic snow globe inspired by the series’ journey to New Vegas. The visual spectacle featured fan-favorite characters Lucy, Maximus, and The Ghoul, capped off by the surprise appearance of a massive Deathclaw seemingly attempting to break through the Exosphere.

Season Two of Fallout, produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Kilter Films, will consist of eight episodes. Following the early premiere, episodes will roll out weekly, leading up to the season finale on February 4, 2026. The new season will stream exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
Picking up after Season One’s epic finale, the story ventures deeper into the wasteland, traveling from familiar ruins to the Mojave and the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas. Based on one of the most celebrated video game franchises of all time, Fallout explores the divide between haves and have-nots in a world nearly stripped of everything. Two hundred years after the apocalypse, residents of luxury fallout shelters are forced back into the irradiated surface world, where they encounter a universe that is complex, strange, and brutally violent.
The series stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, and Frances Turner. Fallout is produced by Kilter Films, with Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, and Athena Wickham serving as executive producers. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner are executive producers, creators, and showrunners, alongside Todd Howard and James Altman representing Bethesda. Margot Lulick also executive produces, with Amazon MGM Studios and Kilter Films producing in association with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks.
Since its debut, Fallout has proven to be a massive hit. Season One has drawn more than 100 million viewers worldwide, placing it among Prime Video’s top three most-watched titles of all time. All episodes from the first season are currently available to stream on Prime Video.
