Fallout season two drops its explosive first trailer as Prime Video announces the show’s December 2025 return, revealing new cast members, fresh mysteries, and a high-stakes journey into the Mojave wasteland.
Prime Video is gearing up for the end times once again with the debut of the first official trailer for Fallout Season Two. The critically acclaimed global hit from Amazon MGM Studios and Kilter Films will return on December 17, 2025, kicking off an eight-episode run that will unfold weekly through the season finale on February 4, 2026.
The brand-new trailer delivers everything fans have been waiting for — action-packed battles, mutated creatures, explosive set pieces, and major cast surprises, including the arrival of Kumail Nanjiani and Macaulay Culkin. Picking up directly after Season One’s dramatic finale, the new installment leads viewers through the harsh Mojave wasteland and into the chaotic, neon-lit remains of New Vegas.
Season One was a massive success for Prime Video, drawing more than 100 million viewers worldwide and ranking among the service’s top three most-watched titles of all time. All episodes of the debut season remain available for streaming as fans prepare for the next chapter.
Based on the beloved and long-running video game franchise, Fallout explores the divide between haves and have-nots in a world where almost nothing is left to have. Two centuries after the apocalypse, the privileged residents of luxury vaults must finally return to the irradiated surface — only to discover a violent, bizarre, and sprawling universe far stranger than they ever imagined.
Season Two once again stars Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets, Sweetpea), Aaron Moten (Emancipation, Father Stu), Walton Goggins (The White Lotus, The Righteous Gemstones), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), Moisés Arias (The King of Staten Island), and Frances Turner (The Boys).
Behind the scenes, the series continues its powerhouse creative collaboration. Fallout is produced by Kilter Films, with Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy serving as executive producers. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner return as executive producers, creators, and showrunners. Additional executive producers include Athena Wickham, Todd Howard of Bethesda Game Studios, James Altman for Bethesda Softworks, and Margot Lulick. Amazon MGM Studios and Kilter Films produce in association with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks.
Season Two will stream exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide — and based on the trailer, the wasteland is only getting wilder.
