10 Reasons Why We Love Selena Gomez!

Whether on Disney or in her hit series Only Murders in the Building Selena Gomez has brought a smile to our faces over many years!

Selena Gomez put a spell on the world when we first met the beloved Alex Russo. Her comedic abilities, talent, and genuine spirit leave us with so much love for the artist and actress. We compiled 10 reasons why we are still obsessed and in love with Selena Gomez!

Being Relatable

One of the things we love most about Gomez is how relatable she is. She presented an award at this year’s SAG awards, but she took the red carpet and stage shoeless. After some confusion as to why the star wasn’t wearing shoes, Gomez revealed that her Christian Louboutins were too difficult to walk in. Classic Gomez going with the flow and rocking a major event without shoes.

Letting Her Silly Side Show

Gomez isn’t afraid to show off her goofy side or let her personality shine! Her carpool karaoke debut with James Corden is one of those times that you feel like Gomez is your best friend. Watching her ride a rollercoaster while singing “Come and Get It,” you can’t help but smile.

“Loose You To Love Me”

When Gomez released “Loose You To Love Me,” fans responded with so much love support, and self love stories of their own. Gomez’s ability to be so raw and honest about her break up made people respect her even more.

Advocating For Mental Health

Gomez is a big advocate for mental health. However she’s followed through on her promise to support people dealing with mental illness in multiple ways. She was an executive producer on 13 Reasons Why, a TV series following teenagers impacted by mental health. She also dedicated her beauty line, Rare, to improving mental health, whether that be by bringing the topic into the education system or by donating profits.

When She Was On Jimmy Fallon

What could make people happier than Gomez with Jimmy Fallon? The pair are hilarious together and remind people that Gomez knows a thing or two about telling a good joke.

Variety of Music

With multiple hit albums and singles, Gomez has put so much music out there for her fans. People love how none of her albums sound exactly the same. Each song has a unique sound, and she’s even branched out to include her Spanish speaking audience.

Her Sarcasm

Alex Russo gave Gomez lots of practice at being sarcastic, and we love to see Gomez be just as sassy in real life.

Creating Rare Beauty

Gomez’s makeup line promotes authenticity and celebrates people’s uniqueness. Knowing how much she stands for each of those things, it’s easy to see the love she puts into her makeup collections.
