Untamed And KPop Demon Hunters Top Netflix Charts

Untamed and KPop Demon Hunters are leading the global Netflix Top 10 this week as the Amy Bradley doc and Madea sequel debut with big numbers.

Netflix’s global Top 10 for the week of July 14–20 is packed with surprises, comebacks, and undeniable crowd-pleasers. The suspenseful new series Untamed, starring Eric Bana, clawed its way to the top of the English TV list with 24.6 million views worldwide. Set in Yosemite, the gripping mystery marks the second No. 1 debut this year for co-creator Mark L. Smith, following American Primeval’s success back in January.

Meanwhile, KPop Demon Hunters continued its cinematic dominance, retaining its No. 1 spot on the English Films list with 25.8 million views. Now in its fifth week, the genre-blending film from HUNTR/X posted its biggest numbers yet, defying the usual decline in later weeks. Alongside its Netflix streak, the movie’s original songs are climbing the Billboard charts, proving these demon slayers are full-on pop icons.

Madea’s Destination Wedding made a dramatic entrance at No. 2 in the film rankings with 16.5 million views. Tyler Perry’s iconic character is clearly still a fan favorite — so much so that A Madea Homecoming (2022) reappeared in the Top 10 at No. 8, earning 3 million views. Not far behind was The Old Guard 2, which cut into the list at No. 4 with 6.2 million views.

On the TV side, Amy Bradley Is Missing debuted strong at No. 2 with 12.2 million views. The true crime docuseries struck a nerve with viewers as it explored the chilling disappearance that captivated headlines. Following closely was the final season of The Sandman in third place (3.3 million views), Monday Night Raw at No. 5 (2.7 million), and Lena Dunham’s new dramedy Too Much, which claimed the 10th spot with 1.9 million.

Over in films, Trainwreck: Balloon Boy floated into the third position with 7 million views, while Adam Sandler’s beloved Happy Gilmore returned to No. 6 (4 million views), just ahead of the debut of its sequel Happy Gilmore 2.

Internationally, Germany’s Brick continued its strong showing atop the non-English Films list (22.3 million views). New entries like Wall to Wall from South Korea (No. 3, 6.4 million), Brazil’s Almost Family (No. 4, 5.5 million), and Apocalypse in the Tropics (No. 7, 1.1 million) brought fresh global flair.

Korea’s Squid Game Season 3 held onto the No. 1 spot on the non-English TV chart with 7.8 million views, while its second season remained strong at No. 6. Anime continued to attract attention with Tougen Anki (No. 5, 2 million), DAN DA DAN (No. 3, 4 million), and The Summer Hikaru Died (No. 8, 1.4 million). Argentina’s Delirium rounded out the list at No. 9 with 1.4 million views.

With major hits across both TV and film, Netflix’s summer lineup is heating up — and it looks like viewers around the world can’t get enough.
