The Night Manager Season 2 Gets Release Date & Teaser

Prime Video announces the release date and drops the first teaser trailer for season two of The Night Manager, starring Tom Hiddleston and Olivia Colman.

Prime Video has officially announced that the highly anticipated second season of The Night Manager will premiere on Sunday, January 11, 2026, with the first three episodes debuting that day. New episodes will follow weekly every Sunday, leading up to the season finale on February 1, 2026. The six-episode season will stream exclusively on Prime Video worldwide (excluding the UK), and on BBC and BBC iPlayer in the UK.

Eight years after its explosive Season One finale, the Emmy, Golden Globe, and BAFTA Award-winning global hit returns with Tom Hiddleston reprising his Golden Globe-winning role as former British intelligence operative Jonathan Pine. In Season Two, Pine is now living under the alias Alex Goodwin, drawn into a perilous new mission that forces him to confront a conspiracy threatening to destabilize a nation. Hiddleston also returns as an executive producer for the series.

The new season was filmed across the UK, Spain, Colombia, and France, and brings back Academy Award winner Olivia Colman (The Favourite, The Crown) in her BAFTA-winning role as Angela Burr. The expanded cast introduces new faces including Golden Globe nominee Diego Calva (Babylon, Narcos: Mexico) as Colombian businessman Teddy Dos Santos, and Emmy nominee Camila Morrone (Daisy Jones & The Six) as Roxana Bolaños, a reluctant ally drawn into Pine’s dangerous world.

Additional cast members joining the series include Indira Varma (Obsession, Obi-Wan Kenobi), Paul Chahidi (Wicked Little Letters, The Serpent Queen), and Hayley Squires (Adult Material, Beau Is Afraid). Returning from Season One are Alistair Petrie (Sex Education, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Douglas Hodge (Joker, Black Mirror), Michael Nardone (Traces, Rome), and Noah Jupe (A Quiet Place, Honey Boy).

Based on the characters created by John le Carré, The Night Manager Season Two is created and executive produced by David Farr and directed in full by BAFTA winner Georgi Banks-Davies (I Hate Suzie, Paper Girls). The season is produced by The Ink Factory (The Pigeon Tunnel, The Little Drummer Girl) in association with Character 7, Demarest Films, and 127 Wall, and co-produced with Spanish collaborator Nostromo Pictures.

Returning as lead executive producer is Stephen Garrett for Character 7, alongside Stephen and Simon Cornwell, Michele Wolkoff, and Tessa Inkelaar for The Ink Factory; Joe Tsai and Arthur Wang for 127 Wall; Adrián Guerra for Nostromo Pictures; and Georgi Banks-Davies, Hugh Laurie, and Tom Hiddleston. Additional executive producers include William D. Johnson for Demarest Films, Nick Cornwell for John le Carré, Susanne Bier, Chris Rice for FIFTH SEASON, and Gaynor Holmes for the BBC.

Season Two Synopsis

Now living quietly as Alex Goodwin, a low-level MI6 officer running a small surveillance unit in London, Jonathan Pine believes he’s left his past behind. But when he spots an old mercenary once tied to his former nemesis Richard Roper, he’s drawn back into the shadows. A violent encounter introduces him to Teddy Dos Santos (Calva), a Colombian businessman with dark ambitions.

In Colombia, Pine crosses paths with Roxana Bolaños (Morrone), a businesswoman who reluctantly helps him infiltrate Teddy’s arms operation. As he becomes entangled in a deadly web of betrayal and political intrigue, Pine races to expose a conspiracy designed to destabilize a nation — and must decide who he can truly trust before it’s too late.
