For the first time in seven years Taylor Swift is returning to the Academy of Country Music Awards stage!

The country pop star is set to perform ‘Betty’ off her latest album Folklore for the first time this Wednesday, September 16.

The award show was originally supposed to take place back in April but because of covid  the event had to be pushed back. Which is a great thing for all the Swifty’s out there as this surprise album didn’t drop until mid August.

Keith Urban will host the show from Nashville for the first time in the show’s history. There will be three different venues used to keep proper covid protocol in place. The ACM’s will host from the Grand Ole Opry House, Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium and The Bluebird Cafe.

Swift will be performing at the Grand Ole Opry House and we can’t wait to see how she makes this performance special. “Betty” is set to be about a teenage love triangle and also rumored to be the name of Blake Lively and Ryan Reyonlds third daughter.

Her performances are always so memorable and special to the occasion. What do you think she is doing for her return to the country music stage?
