Taylor Swift Fans Buzz Over Kelce Podcast Tease

Taylor Swift fans are convinced she will be the mystery guest on Travis and Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast after the NFL star teased a surprise appearance.

Taylor Swift fans have gone into overdrive after Travis Kelce and his brother Jason hinted at a mystery guest set to appear on their hit New Heights podcast. The speculation began when the NFL star and his co-host shared a teaser photo for a special episode, showing themselves grinning alongside a blacked-out silhouette.

“92%ers, we’re coming back early for a special episode with a VERY special guest,” they wrote, announcing that the episode would drop Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET. On Instagram alone, the post drew more than 10,900 comments, with many confident the hidden figure is none other than Taylor Swift. Even Barbara Corcoran joined the guessing game, quoting Taylor Swift’s lyric, “Are You Ready For It?”

Fans have been dissecting every detail of the image, noting that Jason may be wearing an Eras Tour T-shirt and that the silhouette’s shape resembles Swift. Others believe the sparkly orange background points to the announcement of her 12th studio album, tying into theories about her glittery orange stage outfits. The release date—August 13—also nods to Swift’s favorite number, 13.

If the pop star does appear, it would be a milestone moment in her relationship with Travis Kelce, which began in 2023. The pair have spent the summer traveling together, from Florida getaways to visits in Cleveland. Travis Kelce recently returned to his $6 million Kansas mansion to begin pre-season training for the Kansas City Chiefs, where he records much of his podcast.

The tight end has faced speculation about his NFL future after being spotted “house shopping” with Taylor Swift in Cleveland, though he has dismissed retirement talk. Chiefs coach Andy Reid recently praised Travis Kelce’s pre-season form, saying he “looks like he’s 20.”

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift has been enjoying downtime since her sold-out Eras Tour wrapped in December, embarking on a renovation of her Rhode Island home. Fans suspect she’s also been working on new music—possibly timed to release before the Chiefs’ season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sept. 5.

Taylor Swift’s regular appearances at Travis Kelce’s games have drawn new viewers to the NFL, and the league has been accused of leaning into the hype. Now, it seems New Heights is ready to do the same—though some fans have joked they’ll be “trapped” if the guest isn’t Taylor Swift.
