Social Media’s Reaction to Miley Cyrus’ ‘Endless Summer Vacation’!

Fans of Miley Cyrus were well fed with the release of her album Endless Summer Vacation, along with a Disney+ special and a music video!

Miley Cyrus’ highly anticipated eighth studio album, Endless Summer Vacation, broke records when it became the fastest album to hit number one on iTunes in the US in just fourteen minutes. The lead single on the album Flowers, which was released in January on her ex-husband’s birthday.

The album is divided into two parts: side a, songs that are more for the morning, and side b, for when it’s dark out. The division encapsulates the different moods of her versatile tracks, many of which are inspired by the city of LA and the way it changes from day to night.

Miley has only gotten better with time, and this album feels like a culmination of everything she has been through over the course of her career, especially her high-profile marriage and polarizing divorce.

The track “Jaded” got a lot of love on social media. With the summer vibe juxtaposition with the darker meaning behind the lyrics, Miley explores vulnerable emotions and showcases her ethereal voice.

The music video for Miley’s first track on the album, “River,” also dropped today. Shot in black and white, the music video has been giving some fans Can’t BeTamed vibes.

Miley also released a Disney+ special, Miley Cyrus Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions). The special, which was filmed at her home, where the “Flowers” music video was also shot, aesthetically feels like summertime with the beach, sunshine, and her vocals which flow like a July breeze.

During the special, Miley performs her hit song “The Climb,” which came out fourteen years ago this month. Longtime fans of Miley’s have been hit with crazy nostalgia from this performance. It has sparked theories online about Miley potentially singing a Hannah Montana song soon.

This album definitely came out at the perfect time. With every song, a banger, and a sunny aesthetic, Endless Summer Vacation will be an ideal soundtrack for the warmer months this year.
