Six Celebrity Cars That Drive Against the Grain!

These six celebs all have vehicles that stand out from the pack, even in a VIP parking lot!

Most people with celebrity status feel the need to drive a Lamborghini Urus (often bluntly referred to as a ‘Lamb Truck’), the latest Ferrari, or a luxurious Maybach. These folks go the other way – and the results are iconic.

Kendall Jenner: 1956 Corvette

Kendall Jenner has the coolest collection of the entire Kardashian/Jenner clan – it’s no contest. Among others, she owns a 1956 Corvette that she even had featured on legendary car guy Jay Leno’s TV show.

Lady Gaga: Ford Lightning

Lady Gaga owns not one, but two sporty pickups from days gone by. A first-generation Ford Lightning and a Chevy El Camino. We’ll honor the Lightning, though, as it’s a rarer, less predictable choice for a ‘fast truck.’

Justin Bieber: Modified Rolls-Royce Wraith

Justin Bieber was enamored with a Rolls-Royce concept vehicle that was never going to see production. He asked Rolls if he could buy it but they declined. Undeterred, Bieber hit up West Coast Customs and had them make a one-off recreation of the opulent ride. The result appears to float along the road.

Tyler, the Creator: Fiat 131 Abarth

Tyler has a love for classic rally cars in pastel colors, among them this vintage Fiat, which has been featured in promotional material for his last album, Call Me If You Get Lost. In certainly-not-original bright pink, it’s a hell of a rolling statement.

James Hetfield: Black Pearl custom

The lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the legendary metal band Metallica is a dyed-in-the-wool car guy, favoring classic hot rods. The most striking of these is the 1948 Jaguar-based “Black Pearl” custom.

Frank Ocean: BMW E30 M3 Sleeper

Ocean has made himself known as a diehard BMW fan since the beginning. Ten years ago, he was featured in an article that highlighted his supervising of the construction of a heavily modified M3. A ‘sleeper’ is an unassuming car that’s tuned to go like hell – and this would be the apex of the legendary R&B star’s bimmer fixation. While the car on the cover of his mixtape, Nostalgia, Ultra, isn’t the sleeper in question, it’s nevertheless an E30 M3 – proving that sometimes you just need a great car to get your point across.
