Poker Face season 2 earns rave reviews and lands in top 5 streaming titles while scoring a 100% Rotten Tomatoes rating after its May 8 premiere.
Poker Face is back — and hotter than ever. The hit Peacock mystery series made a major splash with the launch of its second season, landing in the top five original streaming titles based on minutes viewed for the week of May 5, according to preliminary Nielsen data.
The critically acclaimed series, created by two-time Oscar nominee Rian Johnson (Knives Out, Glass Onion), also debuted as the #2 streaming original based on average audience for that same week. Season two premiered on May 8 and wasted no time earning praise, quickly becoming certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with a perfect 100% critic score.
Starring and executive produced by multiple Emmy nominee Natasha Lyonne, Poker Face continues to build on its mystery-of-the-week format, following her character Charlie, a human lie detector who travels the country in her Plymouth Barracuda, uncovering new crimes and quirky characters along the way. The show streams new episodes every Thursday on Peacock.
Season two is helmed by showrunner and executive producer Tony Tost (Damnation, Americana), with Lyonne, Johnson, and Ram Bergman leading the producing team under their respective banners Animal Pictures and T-Street. Additional executive producers include Nena Rodrigue, Adam Arkin, Nora Zuckerman, and Lilla Zuckerman, with Arkin also directing episodes 206 and 207.
