Peacock Streams Blumhouse’s The Woman In The Yard June 27

Peacock will exclusively stream Blumhouse thriller The Woman in the Yard on June 27, starring Danielle Deadwyler and directed by Jaume Collet-Serra.

Peacock is turning up the suspense this summer with the exclusive debut of The Woman in the Yard, the latest chilling offering from Blumhouse and Universal Pictures. The supernatural thriller premieres June 27 and will be available only on Peacock.

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and written by Sam Stefanak, The Woman in the Yard stars Danielle Deadwyler (Till), who also serves as an executive producer, along with Okwui Okpokwasili (Exorcist: The Believer), Peyton Jackson (Nobody’s Fool), and Russell Hornsby (The Hate U Give).

In the 88-minute psychological thriller, Deadwyler plays Ramona, a grieving widow whose life takes a terrifying turn when an eerie, otherworldly woman begins appearing in her farmhouse yard. As this mysterious figure inches ever closer to her home, Ramona must confront the nightmarish presence and do everything she can to protect her children. With the entity’s motives shrouded in dread and silence, survival becomes a desperate game of instincts and fear.

The Woman in the Yard joins an impressive lineup of Blumhouse horror films streaming on Peacock, including Firestarter, Get Out, The Black Phone, The Invisible Man (2020), Sick, They/Them, Halloween Kills, Halloween Ends, Night Swim, Wolf Man, You Should Have Left, and The Forever Purge.

Produced by Jason Blum and Stephanie Allain, and with music composed by Lorne Balfe, the film offers a taut and atmospheric experience rooted in emotional depth and supernatural tension. The film’s executive production team also includes Gabrielle Ebron, Jaume Collet-Serra, and Danielle Deadwyler herself.

Beyond The Woman in the Yard, Peacock continues to serve as the go-to destination for major films from Universal Pictures, Focus Features, Illumination, DreamWorks Animation, and Blumhouse.
