Seth MacFarlane will return to voice the hilariously inappropriate teddy bear that fans first fell in love with on the big screen, while also serving as executive producer on every episode. He’ll be joined by Modern Family alums Paul Corrigan and Brad Walsh, who previously executive produced the live-action series and now return in the same roles for the animated installment.

Notably, original film franchise stars are back to lend their voices as series regulars. Mark Wahlberg reprises his role as John, Amanda Seyfried returns as Sam, and Jessica Barth brings Tami-Lynn back to life once more. New cast members joining the misadventures include Kyle Mooney (Saturday Night Live) as Apollo and Liz Richman (Little America) as Ruth.

The animated series will be produced by UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, alongside Fuzzy Door and MRC.

The Ted franchise has proven to be a powerhouse for Peacock. Since its January 11, 2024 debut, the live-action prequel shattered records as Peacock’s most-watched original title to date and was crowned the #1 Original Streaming Comedy in the U.S. for over two consecutive months, according to Nielsen. Internationally, it became the biggest U.S. comedy launch on Sky in the UK in over two decades.

The animated series joins a growing lineup of Peacock Originals, including upcoming seasons of Poker Face, Twisted Metal, Love Island USA, Love Island Games, the untitled Greg Daniels/Michael Koman comedy, Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy, All Her Fault, Ted season two, and Bel-Air season four. Recent hits like The Traitors, Long Bright River, Law & Order: Organized Crime season five, SNL 50, and Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy continue to bolster the platform’s original slate.
