Netflix has unveiled the official first look at Nobody Wants This season 2, offering a sneak peek at the hit comedy’s much-anticipated return. The new season premieres October 23, exclusively on Netflix.
Created by Erin Foster, the series stars Kristen Bell as Joanne, an agnostic podcast host, and Adam Brody as Noah, an unconventional — and undeniably charming — rabbi. In season 1, their unlikely romance surprised everyone around them, including Joanne’s sister Morgan (Justine Lupe), Noah’s brother Sasha (Timothy Simons), and sister-in-law Esther (Jackie Tohn). Their connection ultimately triumphed over the many forces that tried to keep them apart.
Season 2 picks up with Joanne and Noah fully committed to building a life together and blending their families. But while their chemistry remains undeniable, their differences haven’t magically disappeared. The real test now is whether they can stay together despite the personal and cultural challenges that continue to arise.

The 10-episode, 30-minute comedy also features Stephanie Faracy, Michael Hitchcock, Tovah Feldshuh, Paul Ben-Victor, Emily Arlook, Sherry Cola, and Shiloh Berman. Guest stars this season include Leighton Meester, Miles Fowler, Alex Karpovsky, and Arian Moayed.
Executive producers alongside Foster include Steven Levitan, Kristen Bell, Sara Foster, Danielle Stokdyk, Jeff Morton, Bruce Eric Kaplan, Jenni Konner, and Nora Silver, with Oly Obst serving as executive producer for 3arts. Kaplan and Konner return as showrunners, and the series is produced by 20th Television. Filming took place in Los Angeles, California.
With a mix of heart, humor, and awkward family dynamics, Nobody Wants This season 2 promises another round of sharp comedy when it hits Netflix this fall.
