‘Nicole Byer: BBW (Big Beautiful Weirdo)’ Review!

Comedian and television host Nicole Byer hits us with some post ”pandemie” realness in her new Netflix special!

The hilariously outspoken television personality Nicole Byer’s new Netflix stand-up special was released on December 7th. Byer has clearly shared the same experiences as most throughout the ridiculous last year and a half. In Nicole Byer: BBW (Big Beautiful Weirdo), viewers can reminisce in all areas of “pandemie” realness along with her.

Before I clue you in on some of the fantastically bizarre content, let’s just take a moment to discuss the superb look Nicole serves. First, we’ve got a cheetah print crop top to set the mood. The stage is also cheetah print, fierce. Over the shirt, she wears this tailored purple suit in full Harry Styles Love on Tour style. The suit’s gold buttons obviously match wonderfully with a chain over-the-pant belt and long earrings. Finally, a Disney princess-Esque hairstyle further elongates her frame into a powerful, dare I say, girl boss??

At the beginning of the special, Byer emerges in sexy and ever-so campy hamburger lingerie. It’s hard to decide if the pole dancing routine that follows was seducing or just made me hungry. Regardless, this get-up comes full circle when Nicole closes the show graphically describing a rather tantalizing meal.

Throughout the hour-long program, Nicole Byer debates timely and important issues. For example, men. Remember men? Literally, what is up with those guys? From Karen’s to karaoke, Nicole also talks about the not-so-mysterious mystery of white women.

Nicole stands proudly on stage, reminiscing on her hilariously real sex life in and out of quarantine. To be choked, or not to be choked, that is the question. Finally, ranch dressing, dads, female glory holes, and male flight attendants couldn’t help but make their appearances.

Now, if you’re finding yourself intrigued by the ways in which these chaotic elements come together on screen, then you know what to do. For a quick hour of laughs looking back “a goofy-ass year,” head to Netflix for Nicole Byers: BBW (Big Beautiful Weirdo).
