NBA’s Ben Simmons Invests in FaZe Clan Esports Organization

Philadelphia 76ers Player Ben Simmons becomes an investor in the most popular esports organization in the world. 

Ben Simmons is taking his sporting career to a whole new level. The 76ers player has officially invested in the most famous Esports organization known as FaZe Clan.

According to TMZ, the Philadelphia Forward will serve as an “ambassador to the organization of Faze Clan globally,” Faze Clan said to TMZ in a statement.

Simmons first became involved with FaZe Clan in 2018 after gaming with Call of Duty as his Esport of choice.

It’s unknown how much the NBA player actually invested because the company is keeping his investment amounts under wraps.

In a statement, Simmons said, “Gaming is an important part of my life, and so it was a natural progression to personally invest in this industry.”

Needless to say, Simmons bet with the company is well in favor of a major return financially. The gaming company is the most popular in the world, raking in more than 1 billion views on their Youtube channel. Simmons has been known to play with fellow gamer Faze Temperrr of the FaZe Clan squad.
