Must-See Performances From The Latin Billboard Music Awards

At any award show, there are bound to be amazing performances you have to watch over and over. Find out which ones we have on repeat!

The Latin BBMA’s were held in Florida to a very real, but limited, crowd. Artists got the opportunity to perform in front of an actual live audience which we haven’t seen happen in a while.

Telemundo followed all protocols and each audience member was required to wear masks to attend.

The show had so many amazing performances, but here are the top ones you have to see!

#5 Carlos Vives

Starting off our list is Carlos Vives who gave an amazing performance paying homage to his Colombian roots.

Vives did not sing just one song but multiple. He sang his top hits including ‘La Bicicleta’, which features Shakira, ‘Cumbiana’, and more.

Vives included so many amazing visuals during his performance and it changed with each song he sang.

He even danced and played the guitar. Check it out below!

#4 ‘Hawái’ – Maluma

Is it his voice? Is it his hair? Is it his face? For Maluma, it was everything. The Colombian singer graced our TV screens last night to sing his hit song ‘Hawái’ off of his album Papi Juancho.

Not even a few seconds into the performance and Maluma already had the crowd screaming.

He began the song laying down on top of a piano and then picked up the pace once he got to the chorus.

He made his way to the stage where the scenery changed from a somber blue color to bright lively colors.

Maluma gave an amazing performance alongside his backup dancers and he even received the ‘Spirit of Hope’ award for the work his foundation, ‘El Arte De Los Sueños’, has done for the kids of Colombia!

#3 ‘Otra Botella’ – Gente de Zona x Gerardo Ortiz

Don’t you love when two music genres collide?

This song did just that! ‘Otra Botella’ combines Mariachi and cubatón to create this very tropical sound that leaves you wanting more..

The first thing this song does is make you want to dance, which is exactly what the crowd at the Latin BBMA’s did!

Gerardo Ortiz kicked off the performance and was quickly joined by Gente de Zona who brought their sound into the mix.

The trio absolutely killed their performance and if you haven’t watched it….what are you waiting for?!?!

#2 ‘Gracias’ – Ozuna

At number two we have el negrito ojos claros, Ozuna!

His emotional performance of his song ‘Gracias’ was a highlight of the night.

The essence of the song revolves around Ozuna reflecting on his career and blessings and uses it as a time to thank God for everything that has happened.

For his performance, he brought out his children towards the end of the song dedicating it to them.

His beautiful children, dressed in all white, hugged their dad and stood by him while he gave an important message to the fans.

Ozuna used his time to call out the violence against women that has been happening and urged people to protect women as they are the ones that gave us life.

#1 ‘La Nota’ – Manuel Turizo x Rauw Alejandro x Myke Towers

The top performance goes to these three artists who sang their hit ‘La Nota’.

We featured this song in our top latin songs of the week, so make sure to add it to your playlist if you haven’t already!

This trio lit the stage with their vocals.

Each artist has an individual sound that makes them stand out. Mix that together with their incredible stage presence and it was perfect!
