Brands have been harnessing the power of celebrities for as long as we can remember. From the infamous Kylie Jenner x Fit Tea collab to Charli D’Amelio x Dunkin’ Donuts, we’ve seen it all! These musicians have meaningful brand partnerships that set them apart from the rest.

Doja Cat and Taco Bell

Doja Cat is as unpredictable as they come. The musician’s shock factor might not be the most brand-friendly, but Taco Bell decided to take the plunge! When Taco Bell removed the Mexican Pizza from its menu, Doja immediately took to Twitter to beg the fast-food chain to bring it back.

Taco Bell fed into the fire and partnered with Doja to drive up anticipation for the return of the item. They had her perform jingles for the product on her social media accounts and even featured her in their Super Bowl commercial. Doja broke the news of Mexican Pizza’s official return during a live performance at Coachella this year. Doja and Taco Bell fans can look forward to “Mexican Pizza: The Musical”, coming to TikTok soon.

Billie Eilish and Adobe

Billie Eilish is one of the most beloved and innovative musicians of the moment. The artist teamed up with Adobe to inspire other creatives to “create what’s true to you”. Eilish has synesthesia, a condition where she sees colors, shapes, numbers, and smells when she is stimulated by music. In a commercial by Adobe, artists utilized Adobe programs to create a photoshop file of Eilish’s song “Bad Guy”, based on her descriptions. Eilish has collaborated on numerous campaigns with Adobe, including a contest where artists competed to have their designs be Billie’s official tour merch.

Jack Harlow and Kentucky Fried Chicken

The most recent brand partnership to shake the marketing world is Jack Harlow and Kentucky Fried Chicken. The Jack Harlow meal features all of Harlow’s childhood favorite menu items from growing up in Louisville, Kentucky. To celebrate his meal’s arrival, Harlow worked the KFC drive-thru, surprising fans in Georgia while decked out in full uniform. Harlow teamed up with KFC in the past to donate $250,000 to help with relief efforts for citizens hit by tornadoes in western Kentucky in 2021.

A$AP Rocky and Mercedes Benz

New father A$AP Rocky is Pacsun’s first-ever Guest Creative Director and has served as a brand partner with Mercedes Benz for several years. The talented rapper decided to combine the two powerhouses for a sought-after collaboration. Rocky says the collection aims to “echo my original sentiments of creating premium products based on my love for nostalgia and heritage brands that are accessible at different price points.” Will you buy the collection?
