‘Mixed-ish’ Star Wants Michael B. Jordan to Guest on the Show

Ethan William Childress is sharing his dream of having Michael B. Jordan to guest star on a Mixed-ish episode.

The young actor, who stars as Jonah Johnson on Mixed-ish, sat down for a Mini Spotlight On at AfterBuzz TV as Mixed-ish is Childress’s first major role.

There have been many amazing guest stars that have appeared on Mixed-ish so far, but there is one star he’d love to guest star above all others.

“Michael B. Jordan. Please, let’s make that happen,” said Childress.

Childress is over the moon to be apart of such a stellar cast and show as they have become such a tight knit group on and off set.

Mixed-ish is the prologue of Rainbow Johnson’s (Arica Himmel) life exploring her challenges of being bi-racial in 1985, which during that time in history wasn’t the norm. How she and her family learned to be in the world after years in the commune. Exploring issues from how role models are different for this generation, black hair culture, religion and “having to choose a race” to fit in more.

Childress added his own thoughts about being made to feel like he had to choose a race, “Not yet. I feel like when I’m older I may experience that, but I also feel like it may be eliminated more when I grow up. So I’m kind of on the fence, but I don’t think it will happen.”

Mixed-ish has been given a full season 1 order and and new episodes start on Tuesday, January 14th on ABC.
