Kathryn Bigelow’s A House Of Dynamite Hits Netflix

Kathryn Bigelow’s A House of Dynamite is coming to Netflix this October after having select theatrical runs in the UK and globally.

Director Kathryn Bigelow is back with a gripping new thriller. A House of Dynamite will debut in select UK theaters on October 3, expand to select theaters globally on October 10, and arrive for streaming on Netflix October 24.

The high-stakes drama begins when a single, unattributed missile is launched at the United States, setting off a tense race to uncover who is responsible—and how the country should respond.

Bigelow, known for her meticulous approach to tension-driven filmmaking, directs from a script by Noah Oppenheim, who also serves as producer alongside Bigelow and Greg Shapiro. Executive producers include Brian Bell and Sarah Bremner, with Barry Ackroyd as director of photography, Jeremy Hindle as production designer, and Sarah Edwards as costume designer. Editing is handled by Kirk Baxter, with music by Volker Bertelmann and sound design by Paul N. J. Ottosson.

The cast is stacked with acclaimed performers, led by Idris Elba, Rebecca Ferguson, Gabriel Basso, Jared Harris, Tracy Letts, Anthony Ramos, Moses Ingram, and Jonah Hauer-King. They’re joined by Greta Lee and Jason Clarke, with additional roles played by Malachi Beasley, Brian Tee, Brittany O’Grady, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Willa Fitzgerald, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Kyle Allen, and Kaitlyn Dever.

Behind the scenes, the production brings together top talent. Jeremy Hindle, also serving as co-producer, teams with Sumaiya Kaveh and Luca Borghese in shaping the film’s striking design. Casting is led by Susanne Scheel, ensuring a wide-ranging ensemble to bring Bigelow and Oppenheim’s story to life.

With its timely premise, powerhouse cast, and the return of an Academy Award–winning director, A House of Dynamite is set to be one of the most talked-about films of the fall.
