Staring as Serena for all five seasons of Gossip Girl catapulted her to fame but she still had many great roles early on in her career, including The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and Accepted. Let’s take a look at some of her most iconic roles!

Gossip Girl – “Serena Van Der Woodsen”

As Serena Van der Woodsen, Blake Lively has become a household name. Playing the “It girl,” she was fascinating and believable. Even though we all loved Serena, Lively had some struggles portraying the character. In an interview with Harper Bazaar, “People liked it, but it always seemed a little personally compromised – you want to be putting a better message out there.” Even though she may not have been the best role model, Lively definitely killed it in this role.
