Gen V Season 2 Premiere Date and Teaser Revealed

Prime Video has announced the Gen V season 2 premiere date and released an explosive teaser trailer at CCXP México panel with returning cast.

Gen V is officially back in session — and this time, the chaos is bigger, bloodier, and even more unhinged. During an electrifying Prime Video panel at CCXP México, fans got their first look at season two of the wildly deranged The Boys spinoff, complete with a teaser trailer and a major reveal: the new season will premiere Wednesday, September 17 exclusively on Prime Video.

The announcement was made during a lively panel featuring series stars Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, London Thor, and Derek Luh, who hyped up the upcoming episodes to a thrilled audience. The first three episodes of the new season will drop on premiere day, followed by weekly installments every Wednesday. The season finale is slated to air October 22, capping what promises to be a thrilling ride through the halls — and horror — of Godolkin University.

In season two, the state of the world is spiraling as The Boys’ central figure, Homelander, tightens his grip on America. Meanwhile, at Godolkin University, a new and mysterious Dean is introducing a powerful and disturbing curriculum designed to elevate students’ abilities like never before. While Cate and Sam return as newly celebrated heroes, Marie, Jordan, and Emma are still reeling from the traumatic events of season one. As tension rises, an all-out war between humans and supes looms large both on and off campus.

The plot thickens with the discovery of a secret program dating back to the very founding of Godolkin University — and somehow, Marie is at the heart of it.

Returning for season two are Jaz Sinclair as Marie Moreau, Lizze Broadway as Emma Meyer, Maddie Phillips as Cate Dunlap, London Thor and Derek Luh as Jordan Li, Asa Germann as Sam Riordan, and Sean Patrick Thomas as Polarity. New to the cast is Hamish Linklater, who takes on the role of Dean Cipher, a character sure to shake things up even further.

Behind the scenes, Michele Fazekas returns as showrunner and executive producer. The series boasts a powerhouse production team that includes Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Ken Levin, Jason Netter, Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, Michaela Starr, Ori Marmur, Thomas Schnauz, Steve Boyum, and Brant Engelstein. Co-executive producers Loreli Alanís, Gabriel Garcia, and Jessica Chou also help helm the project.

Produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios, in association with Kripke Enterprises, Point Grey Pictures, and Original Film, Gen V continues to expand the explosive and satirical world of The Boys — one outrageous lesson at a time.
