SOUR on Tour

Olivia first teased her tour when she posted a TikTok on December 5, tossing pens into a mug across the room. On her final attempt, she said “If I get this in, I’m going on tour.” And of course, she made the shot. The tour sold out in minutes, and will be stopping in numerous cities across the country and parts of Europe. Her openers include Holly Humberstone, Gracie Abrams, and Baby Queen.

Collaborations

Olivia has mentioned that Taylor Swift is one of her biggest inspirations–so much that she’s credited as a songwriter on some of the tracks on “SOUR.” The two singer-songwriters finally met at the 2021 BRIT Awards, and with Swift in the process of re–recording her albums, there’s always a chance Rodrigo could wind up on a vault track–as many fans are hoping for.

New Music

Fan theories circulating on Twitter and TikTok since the release of “SOUR” have many listeners speculating the release of Rodrigo’s sophomore album being titled “SWEET,” a contrast to her debut that would explore the sweeter songs of romance. Rodrigo did confirm in October that she had begun her second album, but the title is still pending.
