Chef’s Table

Words cannot describe the beauty this entire show captures in the creative and magnificent works of top-tier chefs around the world. This Netflix original focuses each episode on the experiences and talents of a specific chef and how they interpret food in the culinary industry. Each season has around four to six episodes that go so in-depth and are carefully filmed. For foodie lovers who have an interest in dining in some of the world’s most famous Michelin star restaurants, this is definitely the show for you!

Somebody Feed Phil

The creator of Everybody Loves Raymond, Phil Rosenthal, stars as a food traveler and storyteller where he visits countries all over the world including Mexico City, Bangkok, and Venice to tell us about food culture. The show is currently on its fourth season where we get to watch Phil bring out the best in the people he meets on his travels. This show is perfect for the foodie that is planning to visit any of the countries that he has visited and does a great job diving deep into food cultures!

Street Food Asia

A cinematic take on street food which is so popular across many countries is a must-watch for those who are interested. Street Food Asia edition is a documentary series similar to Chef’s Table where each episode focuses solely on one location. The series goes to different Asian countries and finds the most popular street food vendors and tells the stories of the people who make magic happen. Some of the popular locations that they shot in include Japan, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, Vietnam, the Phillippines, and Taiwan. Street food is so different from any regular dining or fine dining experience and so this is a must-watch!

Breakfast Lunch And Dinner

David Chang, the founder of the Momofuku restaurant group and TV personality, follows celebrities in large cities around the world as they explore food together. The popular celebrities that come onto the show include Seth Rogen, Chrissy Teigen, Lena Waithe, and Kate McKinnon who take David on an in-depth food tour while talking about why they love the city. Though there are only four episodes out so far, this should be next on your list if you want to see what celebs are really into food-wise.

American Barbecue Showdown

We all love cooking competitions but barbecue is a whole other kind of competition and this show is a one of a kind barbecue competition. Something that makes this show so good is the down-to-earth competitors who are all pros in what they do but are the nicest competitors. They are all extremely talented in barbecuing which takes hours of labor and love into their food. If you are more into homey food shows, this is definitely one that you should add to your list!
