Fan Reactions to Mitski’s New Album!

Acclaimed indie musician, Mitski, just dropped her new album The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We, and all across the internet fans are celebrating her return!

Following her album, Laurel Hell, the trajectory of Mitski’s career was unsure as she considered retirement. However, after contract negotiations, Mitski announced her new album in July of this year and released the stunning American Gothic-inspired album on September 15th. That, of course, intricately highlights the human experience with love in a way only Mitski can. Already, the album is out to rave reviews from Pitchfork and Rolling Stone, and passionate fan reactions. Here are some of the best!

Some just gushed about her new work, sharing their favorite snippets and lyrics (including fellow indie artist, Laufey)

Fans have even already documented the live performances that are out there of any new songs.

With good reason too, as “My Love Mine All Mine” has already reached #7 on the Billboard Charts and is even looking to overtake the top spot on Mitski’s own Spotify page.

With the success of The Land is Inhospitable and So Are We, we can only eagerly await what Mitski releases next!
