Everything You Need To Know About The New ‘Amsterdam’ Movie!

We are super excited to watch Amsterdam, a new film from David O. Russell, arriving in theaters on October 7th. Here’s everything you need to know about the new upcoming celebrity-packed crime mystery!

Strong Cast

This new and very anticipated film is jam-packed with your favorite celebrities! The 134-minute film stars successful actor Christian Bale with a long list of A-list celebrities right by his side. Big names include Margot Robbie, Chris Rock, Robert De Niro, Anya Taylor Joy, and even Taylor Swift.

Plot and Storyline

The film tells a captivating and richly intricate story that effectively mixes historical fact with fiction for a timeless cinematic experience. It is an original crime epic from 20th Century Studios and New Regency Studios about three close friends, a doctor, a nurse, and a lawyer who find themselves at the center of one of the most stunning and secret conspiracies in American history.

The Promos and Releases

On April 27, 2022, a first look at the film was revealed at the 2022 Cinema-Con. The trailer, set to Ten Years After’s 1971 song “I’d Love to Change the World,” was published on July 6, 2022. In cinemas, an altered version of the trailer was played, indicating the film’s release date as October 7. On September 12, 2022, character posters were revealed, and on September 27th an exclusive IMAX screening of the film was projected in select theaters which was also followed by a nationwide live stream Q&A with the cast!
