Lots of Country

Ryan Seacrest has hinted that this season will include lots of country singers. He also said that the young talent has come more prepared than ever for the auditions. American Idol has started the career of some huge country singers, including Carrie Underwood, Kelly Pickley, and Scotty McCreery. The huge talent show has also famously founded the career of Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson.

Everyone’s Back

Fans are excited about the return of judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan, who will be returning for the sixth time.

Fans also love Ryan Seacrest, rightfully so, as he has been hosting the show for 18 seasons! They are excited to see one of television’s beloved hosts back for yet another season.

One Platinum Ticket Is Already Taken

Last season a new form of the “Golden Ticket” was introduced called the “Platinum Ticket,” which takes the contestant straight to Hollywood and lets them sit out of the first round of Hollywood week. Elijah McCormick won America’s vote and was already awarded the “Platinum Ticket” for this season; the rest will be given out during the show.
