Celebrity DJ, Mark Da Spot, is known for creating a lit experience at celebrity parties and the hottest nightclubs in all of Los Angeles. DJ Mark Da Spot said he fell in love with music after hearing ’Rapper’s Delight’ by Sugar Hill Gang. Throughout his time as a DJ, he’s witnessed the turning point in many artists’ careers. In fact, he said his dear friend, Nipsey Hussle, is among the many he’s supported and believed in from the start.
“Nipsey Hussle and I looked out for one another as friends and through business. We would randomly reach out to each other to discuss family and music. While Djing in Hollywood, CA, I witnessed his success firsthand, and I will forever be inspired by his willingness to use his platform to tell his story and uplift his people,” he said.
One thing that suffered around the country, especially in Los Angeles, is the club scene. Many DJs have had to resort to using social media to showcase their skills and to give people at home a break from the stress of the pandemic, economy, racism, and much more. DJ Mark Da Spot said if the clubs were open and there wasn’t a pandemic, Megan Thee Stallion would be having the clubs on fire!
“She’s very talented, and her music is great club music,” he said.
Since 2020 is coming to a close, DJ Mark Da Spot revealed a new musical venture he will be pursuing within the music industry very soon! He said he will be starting his own record label company! He currently hasn’t signed anyone but is open to new talent. Who do you think he should sign?
“Every upcoming artist that I would sign has already been signed. But I am on the lookout for talented upcoming artists in 2021,” he said enthusiastically.
