March 1st, 12:56 AM, a specific day and time that Beliebers will always remember— Justin Bieber’s birthday. Today Justin Bieber is celebrating his 27th birthday, and fans and celebrities on social media have been flooding his feed with sweet photos and birthday messages. The prince of pop has made quite the name for himself over the years, leaving Beliebers with plenty of memories to look back on. From inside jokes to music releases and even his relationship with Hailey. To celebrate Justin’s birthday, here is a Belieber’s guide to the best Justin Bieber moments!

Random Twitter Hour

Back in 2010 Justin started doing random twitter hours, tweeting random thoughts on his mind, funny jokes, and engaging with his Beliebers for a full hour. Random twitter hour began in 2010 as a way for Justin to have fun and connect with Beliebers on twitter. For a full hour he would tweet random thoughts on his mind, make inside jokes with Beliebers, and tease his fans and team members. Some of the funniest tweets from the pop star came from his random twitter hours. Some include: “Chuck Norris wears Bieber pajamas,” “kinda weirded out that no one got the secret meaning of #boyfriend Obviously listening closely you can tell its about the migration of birds,” and “less cantaloupe, more berries. I’m talking to you pre-packed fruit salads. Don’t play me like that.”

One Less Lonely Girl

Justin’s “One Less Lonely Girl” performance became a tradition at all of his shows. A Belieber from the crowd would randomly be chosen by one of his team members to be brought up on stage during his performance of his song “One Less Lonely Girl.” The special fan was given a bouquet of flowers, and had the privilege of sitting on the throne where the pop prince serenaded her, which would last for 3 minutes. This tradition soon had every Belieber wishing to become Justin’s next O.L.L.G.

The Biebers Wedding

Justin and Hailey Bieber have become one of the most iconic celebrity couples. Their relationship dates back to 2009 when they were first introduced by Hailey’s father, Stephen Baldwin. Their relationship became stronger over the years as they shared the same circle of friends. They went to church together, and even attended the same parties and events. Since they tied the knot in 2018, the couple has openly shared their relationship and married life with the world. Their sweet relationship has had fans melting over the years—we’re still not over their gorgeous wedding photos!

Hosting SNL On Valentine’s Day

In 2013, Justin Bieber had Beliebers glued to their screens while hosting Saturday Night Live’s Valentine’s day show. His skits ranged from being funny and corny, to cute and sweet. It’s safe to say he won the hearts of lots of viewers that night.

Never Say Never Documentary

Justin’s first tour documentary Never Say Never was released in theaters on February 11th, 2011. Bieber Fever was at an all time high, and everyone wanted to know what the day-to-day life was like for the Biebs on tour. From home videos and clips of his hometown, to performing a sold out show at Madison Square Garden, this film documented all aspects of Justin’s life before and after stardom.

Avalanna Routh

Justin has been known for having a soft spot for his Beliebers, so it didn’t surprise fans when he grew attached to little Mrs. Bieber, aka Avalanna Routh. Avalanna was only 9 months old when she was diagnosed with a rare form of brain Cancer, but that never got in her way of being one of the biggest Justin Bieber fans. Her doctors threw a “future Mrs. Bieber” party for her, and the news quickly reached Justin and his team. Justin flew her out to NYC to hangout and spend Valentine’s Day together, and they quickly built a strong friendship. Avalanna passed away in 2012, and a tribute was dedicated to her in two of Justin’s documentaries, All Around The World, and Believe.

Mexico City Show

In 2012, Justin Bieber performed a free show in Mexico City, where over 300,000 people attended. The crowd stretched for miles and part of the city was shut down for the performance. Large screens were set up miles away from the stage for fans to watch outside—truly one of the most iconic concerts!

2018 Met Gala Outfit

Justin Bieber stole the show at the 2018 Met Gala. Working with Olivier Rouisteg, designer of the high end fashion brand, Balmain, Justin wore a three piece black and gold suit that had cameras flashing and fashion critics talking for days.

Despacito Remix

Before the rise in collaborations between American and Latin artists, Justin collaborated with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee on “Despacito.” Justin shocked the music world with his Spanish speaking skills on the remix. The Latin hit single was #1 on the Billboard charts for 15 consecutive weeks, and went on to break several other records.

Performing For The Obamas

Not many people can say they got to meet the president, let alone perform on stage for them—but Justin Bieber can. He did it not only once, but twice. In 2009, Justin performed Stevie Wonder’s “Someday At Christmas,” for the Obamas at the Christmas In Washington event. Bieber returned to The White House in 2011 and was able to perform songs from his own Christmas album Under The Mistletoe.

Meeting Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish has openly admitted to being a huge Justin Bieber fan growing up, admiring his talent and his music. The two met for the first time at Coachella, and everything about their interaction was adorable (Billie could be seen crying into his shoulder during their embrace). The emotional interaction had fans flooding social media with pictures from the night. Billie’s new documentary The World’s A Little Blurry shares clips from that Coachella night and how much her relationship with Justin means to her.

2015 Calvin Klein Underwear Campaign

Justin Bieber rocked the internet when he collaborated with Calvin Klein for their spring 2015 underwear campaign. The steamy black and white photos from the campaign went viral on social media, and the hashtag #MyCalvin was trending for days.

Shawty Mane, Justin’s Rap Alter-Ego

In 2010, Justin debuted his rap alter-ego, Shawty Mane. The character was created as a joke between him and his friends after he released a video freestyling over Cam’ron and Vaco’s “Speaking in Tungs.” The following year, Shawty Mane surprised fans again with a rap verse in Chris Brown’s songs “Ladies Love Me.”

Showing Love To Beliebers

Justin has built a strong relationship with his Beliebers over the years, and he’s never been afraid to show them just how much he loves and appreciates them. What better way to end off this list of best moments than with a thread of loving tweets from JB himself.

The birthday boy announced on social media today that his new single, “Hold On,” from his upcoming album Justice, will be released on Friday! We’ve come a long way since Justin’s inception in the music industry, and we can’t wait to see what he does next!
