Bad Bunny’s Top Moments Of 2020

While the pandemic slowed things down all over the world, Bad Bunny made sure to keep us pretty occupied.

#5 Superbowl Halftime Show

The iconic halftime performance, headlined by Shakira and Jennifer Lopez, included both Bad Bunny and J Balvin.

Bad Bunny came out during Shakira’s set, where he performed his hit songs ‘I Like It’ and ‘Callaita.’

The performance as a whole was incredible but also adding two of the hottest Latin artists of the moment made it that much better.

#4 Yo Perreo Sola

Bad Bunny did what he does best: break the internet.

This quarantine anthem was made for all the women who just want to dance alone!

Bad Bunny dressed up in full drag and advocated for women’s rights throughout the whole music video.

In the end, he left a very important message to all his followers which was: “If she doesn’t want to dance with you, respect her, she dances alone.”

How much more iconic can you get?!

#3 Rolling Stone Cover

This year, Bad Bunny became the first Latin urban artist to be on the cover of Rolling Stone!

A well-deserved cover that even Bad Bunny himself could not believe.

He has done so much in the past few years that it only makes sense for him to be there.

He has constantly used his platform to bring awareness to certain topics and does not shy away from addressing what is happening around the world.

It probably won’t be the last time we see him on the cover!

#2 Dropped Three Albums

One was great. Two was better. Three made my entire year.

He. Released. Three. Albums. I repeat. THREE.

That was pretty crazy but nonetheless amazing.

Bad Bunny released his second studio album YHLQMDLG back in February. A few months later, he went on Instagram live to reveal some of the songs that didn’t make it on the album.

He only showed a quick preview of them and said he would never release them.

He lied. He ended up releasing an album with the songs he teased called Las Que No Iban A Salir.

Lastly, Bad Bunny released El Último Tour del Mundo in November.

All three of his albums were great, and if you haven’t heard them, I highly suggest you do!

#1 Most Streamed Artist Of 2020

Spotify named Bad Bunny the most streamed artist on the platform in 2020.

He managed to get a total of 8.3 billion streams, and his album YHLQMDLG was also the most streamed album globally, with 3.3 billion streams.

Bad Bunny has made an enormous impact on the music industry, and it is amazing to see all his hard work pay off.

We cannot wait to see what he has in store for 2021!
