9 TV Episodes To Get You Into The Holiday Spirit!

No matter what holiday you’re celebrating this season, there’s a show out there for you! We’ve compiled a list of some of our favorites to bring the holiday spirit your way!

As soon as December hits, all you want to do is enjoy your days curled up on the couch eating some of your favorite holiday treats, and watching holiday-inspired TV and film. Here’s a list of tv show episodes to get you into the holiday spirit.

Rugrats “A Rugrats Kwanzaa”

This festive episode is dedicated to celebrating Kwanzaa. Susie Carmichael gets a visit from her aunt who wants to celebrate Kwanzaa with her family. You can’t say no to a Rugrats classic!

Even Stevens: “Heck Of A Hanukkah”

Louis decides the best way to ruin the Stevens family’s Hanukkah celebration is by hoarding all of the Hanukkah presents for himself. Too bad they all fell out of the window. In an It’s a Wonderful Life-themed episode, Louis embarks on a journey to find out what would have happened if he wasn’t born into the Stevens family. Thank goodness he was though because we love all of his shenanigans.

New Girl: “LAXmas”

A holiday New Girl episode? Who could say no to that!? Although their Thanksgiving celebrations are their most popular episodes, they had a pretty awesome Christmas one too. The group makes the best of a poor situation as they’re stuck at LAX for the holiday. At least we know to always travel with friends to make bad situations fun!

The Proud Family: “Seven Days Of Kwanzaa”

The Proud Family is out Christmas shopping when they have an encounter with a homeless family. After Penny invites them into their home, they teach the Proud family all about Kwanzaa. Who doesn’t love a 90s throwback?

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend: “My Mom, Greg’s Mom, and Josh’s Sweet Dance Moves!”

This is a one-of-a-kind holiday episode, I mean, doesn’t the title give that away already? This episode follows the cast as they celebrate Hanukkah, but it gets even better when Rebecca’s passive-aggressive mother arrives to celebrate as well.

Modern Family: “Undeck The Halls”

Ever have your parents threatened to cancel Christmas? This episode follows the Dunphy kid’s disappointment unfold when Phil and Claire threaten to cancel the holiday. Although no one wants to see Christmas canceled, it’s one of their best holiday episodes!

Everybody Hates Chris: “Everybody Hates Kwanzaa”

Chris decides he wants to celebrate Kwanzaa and tries to convince his family to celebrate the holiday also. Why? On the sole basis that it’s cheaper than Christmas! Going against the title here, but everyone loves Chris and what he gets himself into!

The Goldbergs: “A Christmas Story”

This episode was definitely a “sizzle and pop!” Beverly promises her family they will have a better holiday than in years past, naming it their “Super Hanukkah.” Between the Hannukah bush and decorations, this episode will keep you entertained from start to finish while also feeling the holiday spirit!

How I Met Your Mother: “Little Minnesota”

Robin was feeling homesick being away from Canada during the holiday season, so Marshall offers to bring her to the Minnesota-themed bar when he misses his hometown in the hopes to make her feel better. On the other side, Ted’s sister visits him in New York and he tries everything in his power to keep her away from Barney. As it is, Barney has a history of making rather inappropriate Christmas songs about her. (But let’s be real, they’re kind of catchy).
