5 TikTok Trends We Want To See Make A Comeback!

TikTok trends come and go pretty quickly, but there are a few, including the Adult Swim bumpers and Bridgerton musical, that we would like to see trend again!

There have been so many trends on TikTok. They usually only last a week or so if we’re lucky before new trends take over. But there have been a few that we wish would have stuck around for a little bit longer. Here are the trends that we want to make a comeback.

Adult Swim bumpers

This trend is arguably one of the best trends to have ever happened on TikTok. Creators took inspiration from the Cartoon Network’s late-night programming that utilized bumpers to signal that the program would be starting again after a commercial break. The videos would be set to a remix of “Time Moves Slow” by BADBADNOTGOOD and would reveal the Adult Swim logo in a creative way. With how clever these TikToks were, we really want to see this trend return.

Whipped Coffee

At the beginning of the pandemic, whipped coffee was all the rage. When everyone was stuck at home, people were looking for something new to pass the time. That’s when whipped coffee became a popular trend. Though it did take a lot of time and work to make, we think it’s time this drink came back.

Roller Skating

Roller skates also became really popular during the pandemic. Some talented TikTokers busted a move on their skates and started a wave of people purchasing their own skates to join in on the fun. Set to fun music, TikTokers made videos as they skated around in the summer sun. As warmer weather will be approaching quickly, we think that now is the perfect time for roller skating to trend again.

“Say So” Dance

There are so many dances that are created on TikTok, but one of our favorites has been the dance to Doja Cat’s “Say So.” In December of 2019, TikToker Haley Sharpe choreographed a dance to the song that soon went viral. Everyone began sharing their own videos of the dance, and Doja Cat not only added a part of the choreography to her music video but also invited Sharpe to be in it. We love the good vibes that always come from this dance!

TikTok Musicals

Another one of our favorite trends is the creation of TikTok musicals. Creators from around the world came together to make Ratatouille the Musical, based on the beloved Pixar movie. Costumes and sets were designed and music composed, and the musical was even performed. Creators came together once again to make Bridgerton the Musical after Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear began making music based on the Netflix series. Season 2 of Bridgerton will be released on March 25th, and we are hoping that means a second Bridgerton musical will be inspired!
