5 Things To Do Before Your Harry Styles Concert!

So you’ve made it past the warzone that is the Ticketmaster queue and secured Harry Styles tickets. Now what?

Good news Harries! Harry Styles is coming back to the Kia Forum to complete his Los Angeles residency shows. Last November, Styles completed 12 out of the 15 shows that were originally scheduled at the Kia Forum. Three of those shows were rescheduled due to health issues, and finally, after a long wait, Styles is scheduled to return to the city of angels. He’s even added two more shows (Jan. 31 and Feb. 1) at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs, Calif.

Verified Fan Pre-sale for Styles’ new dates began on Jan. 19 at 10 a.m. PST, and General Sale began on Jan. 20 at 10 a.m. PST. If you were one of those lucky people to get tickets, congratulations! You’ve made it past the difficult part. Now, it’s time for planning.

As an avid concert-goer and HUGE Harrie, here are five things you need to do in preparation for your concert date.

Figure Out Transportation and Stay

The most important thing to do after you’ve purchased your tickets is to do your research on transportation and/or stay. Many Harries travel from all over the country to attend Styles’ shows, and it’s safe to say that many fans are hoping to attend the Pop singer’s “birthday bash” at the Acrisure Arena. If you will be visiting from out of town, make sure to research hotels and Airbnb’s near the arena, figure out the costs needed, and reserve your hotel or Airbnb quickly before someone else snatches it up. The next thing to think about is transportation. Are you driving? Ubering? Rideshare usually has designated drop-off and pick-up locations. For those who are driving, figure out if the concert venues have parking available and how much they charge for it.

Prepare Your BEST Outfit

As Styles once said, “Welcome to the final show. I hope you’re wearing your best clothes.” Make sure to treat your show like it’s the final one and go all out. You can pick a theme or color scheme or even coordinate your outfit with your friends. If you’re having trouble finding inspiration, try finding your style on Pinterest or Instagram. Whether you go on a shopping spree to find the perfect outfit or rummage through your closet to discover new outfit combinations, don’t forget to have fun. Preparing your outfit for a concert should be an exciting part of your concert to-do list.

Pick What Your Sign Will Say

Every Harry Styles fan has seen videos of Styles reading signs during concerts. If you managed to snag pit tickets, you should definitely try your luck with a sign. After all, you never know if he will look your way. Don’t have any ideas? Cheesy pick-up lines, song references, and silly jokes seem to be the most popular sign ideas seen at Harry Styles concerts. Music venues have their own policies regarding how big a poster or sign can be, so it’s better to double check before making any signs. According to the Kia Forum website, signs and banners larger than 11” x 17” are prohibited. Acrisure Arena may have different policies.

Queue Up The Setlist

You don’t want to be the only person at the concert who doesn’t know the lyrics or the setlist. The best way to know what’s going to be played at the concert is to look on social media or go on Spotify to see if anyone else has made a playlist of the setlist. Many fans tweet during their concert experiences, so there’s a good chance you’ll know what songs will be played, as well as any other surprises, such as Styles’ cover of Britney Spears’ “Toxic” on Oct. 31, 2021. Don’t forget to do your research on the opening band, too. You might be surprised and may even become a fan. British rock band Wet Leg is the opening act for Styles’ LA shows, and singer Madi Diaz will be the special guest for the Palm Spring dates.

Look At The Venue Policies On Their Website

Do they have any COVID-19 policies you should follow? Are you allowed to bring bags or backpacks in? If so, how big can they be? Are they a cashless venue? All of these are things fans need to be aware of when getting ready for a concert. There’s nothing fun about being stopped at the entrance of a concert. Eliminate stress on the day of your concert by doing research beforehand.

Checked off all five tasks already? Great! Now you can relax and count down the days until the lights go off and Styles appears on stage.
