By 2020, the once influencer-driven programming changed to mostly reality-TV content. These series would base themselves on cast members from many old guilty pleasure shows including Flavor of Love, Bad Girls Club, I Love New York, and Love & Hip Hop. Ultimately, once Zeus Network started pushing out these types of series, they started to blow up and go viral on social media.

With executive producers and partners such as Ray J, Princess Love, Kamal “Chance” Givens, Blac Chyna, Draya Michele, Joseline Hernandez, Natalie Nunn, and Tanisha Thomas, who have all had experience being on a successful reality TV shows, the streaming service began to completely flourish, and blow up. Now it is a huge platform that is completely worth the monthly prescription to tune into.

Zeus has many amazing shows but here are some you definitely need to check out!

This show stars the one and only Puerto Rican princess Joseline Hernandez we all know from Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. In this show, she is seeking dancers, strippers, and sex workers to work for her worldwide cabaret show. Joseline originally had the idea of performing at many places and events with her new music and songs, while also giving the audience a bit of where she came from. Hernandez has never been shy of sharing that she used to work at strip clubs before being on Love and hip Hop and makes sure to give exposure to the fact that it’s not something to be ashamed of. It’s just another way of living like any other job, and the stereotypes when it comes to being an exotic dancer, sex worker, or anything in relation to the two professions should not be detrimental to a person’s character. She wants to show these women that doing a profession they enjoy can get them farther, make them more money, and also, provide many more opportunities for them. It is one of her goals to prove that exotic dancing is a way of art, not something frowned upon, and to reward those with their talents.

Ultimately it became a competition show where you can win thousands of dollars and the opportunity to perform with the artist at her future shows.

This show is what helped Zeus gain such a large audience since there are not many reality series centered around exotic dancers (especially not competition shows) and the drama and unfiltered content that come along with it.

While the show contains, drama, and entertainment it also brings us back to the Bad Girls Club era with all the fights they have and so many women living within one house. It’s a show that many just can’t look away from.

It has now finished up its 3rd season and hopefully, there is more to come.

Baddies Atl/South

If you miss Bad Girls Club, then you have to tune into Zeus! They have many shows inspired by the series, but the most important is obviously Baddies ATL/South where you can see some of your favorite Bad Girl Club cast members. If you miss the fights and drama of Bad Girls Club this show is definitely for you.

The Conversation

Another show that kicked Zeus off, The Conversation, is a series where each episode has different people hashing out their, ‘beefs’. The point is to have the two people sit across from each other and have a conversation with no host or anyone else involved. They try their hardest to not have the guests resolve to violence but some people just can’t help themselves.

The show is executive produced by Ray J and Princess Love. The guests they have are usually many who are beefing on social media or from show franchises such as Love and Hip Hop and Bad Girls Club.

This show is great because we see it all, the behind-the-scenes and rawness of the actual creation of content. Also, we as the audience know it’s authentic and real in comparison to other reality TV series that come off as very scripted.

Bad Boys Club is another Natalie Nunn executive-produced show inspired by Bad Girls Club. They take the baddest boys in cities all over the country to live in a house together, which of course comes with fighting, arguing, and growing amongst each other. The show allows the boys to try new things, gives them exposure, and has them attend the hottest events, create music, and live in a big mansion. This season of Bad Boys Club Los Angles included a cast that live a lifestyle sort similar to what they wanted to expose the boys to. A lot of cast members were club promoters, high-end celebrity hair stylists/ models, and popular social media influencers. The cast included Jonathan Wright (International Celebrity Stylist), Milan Christopher (actor, model, activist, Reality tv star, and rap artist), Kerrion Franklin (music artist and son to Kirk Franklin), and more.

Kamal Chance Givens, who is best known for being on I Love New York as a love interest, is now in a spinoff with his brother called Real Chance of Love. Unfortunately, since then the two haven’t been on television and his brother Real passed away.

Zeus Network then gave him the opportunity of finding love again in 2021.

He goes through this journey of getting women from multiple cities to come out to a mansion, and go on several dates with him. He has eliminations every week, sending women home until he ends up finding his true match.

He does this with the help of his other brother Mike and the HBIC and ex-love interest Tiffany Pollard, aka “New York”.

The show is incredible because it still has nostalgic love show energy like Flavor of Love, I Love New York, and Real Chance of Love. However, they also made it modern and entertaining for us to really get into it. This show now has 2 seasons.

If interested in watching any of the above shows, disclaimer: they contain violence, and curse words/explicit language which may be unsuitable for younger audiences. Viewer discretion is advised.

Overall, Zeus has a bunch of shows that have been going viral, season after season, all over the internet with people jumping to sign up to join the streaming service. I mean people can’t get love shows and Bad Girls Club-themed shows like this anywhere else!

So if you need a better understanding of what’s trending on Twitter on a Sunday night and why you definitely need to subscribe to Zeus. The network does not disappoint with all its content being over-the-top entertaining funny and dramatic, and you can support a Black network while appreciating Black reality TV icons.

You can watch the network at https://www.thezeusnetwork.com. It’s available on mobile devices such as iPhones, iPads, and Androids; and on Television apps such as Apple TV, Roku, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Chromecast. Subscribing to the network only costs $5.99 a month or $59.99 a year.
