4th of July is a few days away and WWE NXT brought back The Great American Bash! This event will take place over 2 nights but tonight we recap part 1. Fatal 4-Way women’s match kicked off the show as Tegan Nox cemented her spot as the number 1 contender for the NXT Women’s Championship. Karrion Kross and Scarlett delivered a chilling video package. There was nowhere to run for Roderick Strong as he faced the intimidating Dexter Lumis in a Strap Match. Io Shirai defended her NXT yard as she sent Sasha and Bayley packing back to Raw with a little assist from the Empress of Tomorrow, Asuka. Next week the Bash continues as it all leads up to the Unification Match between North American Champion, Keith Lee and NXT Champion, Adam Cole (Baybay).
