Who We Want To See On ‘Dancing with the Stars’?

With Fall right around the corner, it is almost time for the new season of Dancing with the Stars! Here are 5 celebs we would love to see on the show!

Who’s got the moves?

Over the years, Dancing with the Stars has been full of glitz, glam and, of course, none other than the Mirrorball Trophy.

From actors and athletes to reality stars and hosts, many of our favorites have waltzed across the stage, even our very own Maria Menounos.

With Summer almost coming to a close and Fall right around the corner, that means it’s time once again to dance with the stars! Here are some notable celebs that we would love to see cha-cha into the Television City Studios.

Najee Harris

Najee Harris is an American football running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is young and agile and was selected as a first-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. The qualities he embodies as a running back – versatility, speed, balance, and quickness – can transcend him into a new realm and spot on Dancing with the Stars, similarly to the hall of fame running back and all-time leading rusher Emmitt Smith, who won the show back in 2006. Harris does not shy away from showing off his specialty dance moves and bubbling personality on the practice field. One thing is for certain his hips don’t lie as he encourages young kids at a Play60 event to move their hips like Shakira when maneuvering through the agility ladder. The way he tiptoes his feet effortlessly makes him a natural and ready for the dance floor.

Brody Jenner

Lights, camera, more action? Instead of shredding the Malibu waves, maybe it’s time to shred it in some boogie shoes. When it comes to Dancing with the Stars, Brody Jenner has been the talk of a decade. His fellow The Hills co-star, Audrina Patridge, stated in an interview, “it would be interesting to watch Brody dance out there.” So, is it time to get the reality star on the dance floor? We think yes! His spontaneous and bold personality will make him a force to be reckoned with. Who knows, maybe he’ll follow in the footsteps of his stepbrother Rob Kardashian who landed in 2nd place during season 13.

Sydney Sweeney

Sydney Sweeney has risen to absolute stardom in the last several years for starring as Cassie Howard in the hit show, Euphoria. While the double Emmy Award-nominated actress has a lot on her plate, fans would go nuts seeing her appear on Dancing with the Stars. Sweeney is a multifaceted actor, but what about dance? Well, there’s not much she can’t do! One thing is for sure she is no stranger to competition. The actress is a trained MMA Fighter. At 18, she took first place, even competing against boys much bigger than her. If she can dance around the ring, perhaps she can dance on the stage!

Ted Danson

Cheers to the Mirrorball! While it is always great to have some new, fresh blood showing off their dance moves, it is fun to bring it back to old school. Ted Danson is a class act who is known for his portrayal as the beloved Sam Malone on the nostalgic Cheers and Michael on The Good Place. The actor is still young at heart so why not cast him on Dancing with the Stars? Having a variety of dancers at different stages in life only makes the competition more exciting, wouldn’t you agree? Kirstie Alley, who is also a former cast member of Cheers, placed second, so she could definitely give Danson some pointers.

Whitney Cummings

Being serious was totally last year! A comedian on Dancing with the Stars, what could be more humorous? Whitney Cummings’ hilarious innuendos would make her a sensation on the show. Not only was she a guest host on an episode of The Masked Dancer, but showed off her own, personal dance moves on The Ellen Degeneres Show with Beth Behrs. Although her vogue and disco interpretation was spot on, the star could use a few tips when it comes to the tango and foxtrot, so it’s good there are professionals ready to rumba! Additionally, Cumming could learn some tricks from fellow comedian and friend Nikki Glaser who appeared on Season 27.
